How surplus funds recovery works
Five steps from foreclosure to funds. A licensed attorney handles the legal filing, and you stay in control the whole way.
- 01
We find the money
We review public records from foreclosure and tax sales to find surplus that is sitting unclaimed. If we think some of it may be yours, we reach out.
- 02
You check us
On the first call we give you the county and the case number. Call the clerk yourself. Confirm the money is there before we go any further.
- 03
We prepare the claim
We gather the documents the court needs, arrange a notary where one is required, and walk you through every signature.
- 04
An attorney files it
Where a claim needs an attorney, we bring in one licensed in your state and we cover the cost. Court-released funds run through an attorney trust account.
- 05
You get paid
When the funds are released they are disbursed to you. Our fee comes out of the recovery, and only then.
Start with a free review. No cost, no obligation.
Share a few details and a case manager will check the public record for your property and tell you what may be there, in plain language, before you decide anything.
- Nothing to pay to request a review
- You can verify us with the county before you sign anything
- If there's nothing there, we'll tell you that too
